I Have Notes on Prime Day
Some thoughts and a few repeat purchases.
Prime Day for me, has never really been about fashion or fun finds. It's mostly an excuse to restock the beauty products I'm already using and don't want to pay full price for. This year, that's facial towels I've apparently bought 22 times in the past year, the pore toning pads if your skin runs congested or breakout-prone, a clinic-level retinol (if you've built up tolerance would not rec for beginner), and a firming body lotion that's doing more than the others I've tried. And a few more below.
What did you buy this year? Let me know!
These sheets are doing the most hotel-bed impression I've found outside of an actual hotel. Crisp, cooling, and stayed that way through the wash. I’ve bought the trendy, very hyped brand (and I prefer these!)

Two-sided toner pads— exfoliates and clears pores in one swipe. If you're congested or breakout-prone, this is the strength you want.
Confession: I paid full price for this steamer twice (because I thought I lost it). It works AMAZING, and I highly recommend it. The vacuum feature really does make all the difference. Easy to travel with, too.

I can’t not use these. My derm has me hooked and I credit my skin clearing up to these (and skincare obvi, but I do think these helped).
This is not a starter retinol. It's the one I reach for when I want clinic-level results without the prescription. It works and it's technically a retinaldehyde, which is one conversion step closer to active than retinol is. That's the whole reason it works faster without more irritation.

Multi-balm stick with NAD, low molecular collagen, and retinol. I've been using this under eyes and I swear it makes them look less hollow. I only use during day bc I love my other eye cream for nighttime.
A firming, hydrating body lotion for crepey skin. It works. Use every night.

I've probably purchased 5 jars of this over the years. It works great for taking off your makeup (oil-based) and travels well.
This device is doing the job of five separate tools. No special gel, it just glides over your serum. Still using it daily for lifting and toning.

A magnesium bath is one of my favorite weekly rituals. I go through bags of this (and it's not cheap), so I stock up. Sounds odd, but my sleep’s better and muscle cramps are gone. Not glamorous, but it's something I do 2-3x a week.
Have something to say? Meet me in the comments!

I absolutely love the cleansing towels. I agree that it makes my face feel so much cleaner!
